GHOSTFACE KILLAH

As one of the original members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah made an impact before he released his debut album, Ironman, late in 1996. Like all members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface used the group as a launching pad for his solo career, which was greatly assisted by producer RZA. He rapped on Wu-Tang’s 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang, but didn’t distinguish himself until 1995, when he was showcased on Fellow Wu member Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. He received very positive reviews for his appearance on the record as well as his guest appearances on the soundtracks for Sunset Park and Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. The guest appearances set the stage for his solo debut, Ironman, a record produced by RZA, which debuted at number two on the pop charts upon its release. Since Ironman, he has released 6 more solo albums in addition to his contributions to mixtapes and work on 6 other Wu-Tang studio albums and 7 Wu-Tang compilations. Ghostface has toured the world several times over both with the other members of Wu-Tang and on his own.
