ACEYALONE

A founding member of Freestyle Fellowship, Aceyalone played an important role in the evolution of literate hip-hop on the West Coast during an era when ganagsta rap reigned. After the dissolution of the group, Aceyalone went on to release some of the most classic records in the underground hip-hop scene. He debuted with All Balls Don’t Bounce in 1995, and followed that with A Book of Human Language in 1998. In 2001, he released Accepted Eclectic. He then went on to release Hip Hop and the World
We Live In in 2002 and Love & Hate in 2003 featuring collaborations
with El-P and Antipop Consortium. Early in 2006, he released Magnificent City, a collaboration with producer RJD2 as well as Grand Imperial, a limited-edition collection of remixes and other exclusive tracks.
